All you need to know before you schedule a lesson
Here's a brief description of each tutoring session:
One on one sessions: This is best for students who need a lot of help with their math problems and/or learn best when being taught by themselves.
Group sessions: For those who like being taught in a group setting. This is meant to encourage interactions and thoughtful discussions which leads to building strong problem solving skills. Group sessions are also built for students who enjoy exchanging ideas.
Single sessions: For students with questions that would like help through one standalone session. A single session may also be used as an evaluation trial.
Choose the tutoring option that best matches your needs and learning style. Then, using the contact form, fill out all inquiries and we will get back to you within 12 hours. Simple as that!
Before joining a tutoring session, it is highly recommended that students do the following:
- Come prepared with all necessary materials: pencils, notes, textbooks, questions etc.
- Identify specific concepts/topics where help is needed prior to attending your session.
- Listen attentively, take notes, and address questions, at any point during the session, to the tutor to clarify any doubts.
If a student arrives in the meeting room within 10 minutes after the start of the meeting time, the meeting will still proceed and will end at the originally scheduled time. However, after 10 minutes, the meeting will be cancelled by the tutor.
To reschedule or cancel a meeting, the student will need to email the tutor 1 hour prior to the start of the meeting.
